Health Professions Technology Specialist

Cleveland State University is seeking a Specialist, Health Professions Technology to serve as a subject matter expert and technical liaison for instructional and simulation-based technologies. This role supports immersive healthcare education by managing high-fidelity manikins, audiovisual systems, and simulation platforms, while partnering with faculty, staff, and IS&T teams to integrate innovative solutions that enhance teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot simulation manikins, A/V systems, recording/debriefing tools, and patient monitoring technologies.
Coordinate with faculty and IT teams to ensure classroom and lab technology performance.
Provide training, guides, and one-on-one support for instructional technologies.
Manage equipment and software inventories, scheduling, and simulation staging.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to advance health professions education.
